Urbane Cafe is a Fast Casual Restaurant Concept in Southern California providing Fresh and Healthy Sandwich and Salad options to its local communities. Urbane Cafe, established in 2003 is fast growing, privately owned, and expanding at 6 to 8 units per year.

Urbane Cafe had 12 locations and was growing quickly, they required technology guidance to further grow their number of units with technology insight and a roadmap to support it.
Topa Topa Technology Group provided Virtual CIO (vCIO) services and took over all technology infrastructure and software platforms and began augmenting internal systems with best-in-class technology services to improve performance, stability and efficiencies.
Urbane Cafe required a new Digital Ordering platform to take the guest experience to the next level when using Web, Mobile App and Delivery Service Providers like Door Dash, Postmates and Uber Eats. They also required the ability to offer Curbside Pickup and Delivery and wanted to re-design their loyalty program.
Topa Topa Technology Group evaluated and identified the best digital ordering platform vendor and an overall scope of work to fulfill all necessary requirements.
Urbane Cafe's 21 locations required 7x24 technology support, including their headquarters location and remote office staff.

Digital Ordering Platform
Partnered with the digital ordering vendor to implement an end-to-end system and provide best-in-class services to Urbane Cafe's guests and local communities. At project completion, we released the all new Urbane Cafe Mobile App and Loyalty Program, a Re-Branded Web Ordering front end and Integrated Food Delivery Services.
Fully Managed Program
With our "Fully Managed Program" we put all infrastructure systems at all 21 locations on our Managed IT Services platform and provided proactive monitoring and remote support along with complete security software and patch management. This included Windows PC, Windows Laptop, Network Switch & Router devices, printers and point-of-sale systems.
